Mike Beliveau has been a part of baseball through playing and coaching for 42 consecutive seasons. He played at Saugus High School, (Mass) , Bridgewater State College (Mass), and many summer leagues throughout New England. He recently retired having played 6 seasons for the Bedford Mets of the over 38 league in Bedford, NH. Mike was a captain at Bridgewater State, and set a then school record 3 home runs in one game during the 1984 season. He batted .404 as a junior and overall had a
career batting average of .362
Mike began coaching at the age of 18 in the Saugus (Mass) Babe Ruth Baseball program. He has coached many years of little league, Babe Ruth, and High School for 14 seasons at Souhegan.
This season Mike is an assistant varsity manager. |
